Been waiting for a thread to popup, just toured the law school not too long ago. Resident of Arizona all my life, really hoping to get in here.

Not much there outside of UofA but most students are ok with it and you can get to Phoenix in an hour and a half or so. Personally, I prefer ASU (biased alum) but more because of it's access to Phoenix/Scottsdale over anything else. Both are good schools and I would recommend visiting both if you are really considering. I was born/raised in Phoenix and can't really imagine living in a smaller town like Tucson but some love the small/college town thing.

One note about the two: being an alum of ASU, I can tell you that the perception of the school outside of Arizona is that it's a party school and UofA is seen more seriously. Either way, you will run into people all across the country that have attended one of the two, lending to a fairly strong alumni network.

In state - returning student and I work at UA

my status date moved to 12/11 but it is still under committee review. Anyone else have this?

Nope, still stuck at 11/1.

Committee Review as of 12/11. Went complete around 12/3.

Went complete 11/9, no action since. Interesting because I'm under review at all my other schools except UofA, yet UofA seems to be the only one that gives offers before Christmas (according to LSN).

My application went under review 12/07/12. I'm out of state.. hopefully I hear back soon! Does anyone know if they admit via status checker or snail mail?

Finally went Committee Review today.

Mine went to committee review this morning, and now it says "Decision Rendered." Hopefully that's a good thing!

I went Committee Review on Saturday 12/15. Hoping a decision is rendered soon; LSN suggests that I'll hear from UofA sooner than any of my other schools, and maybe even before Christmas.

Edit: This morning it was Committee Review 12/15, but now it's Decision Rendered 12/17.

According to the dean of admissions, a large wave of decisions are coming on Saturday. Sounds like you skated right through committee review, should be a good sign for you. I've been under review for 5 days now, and numbers are very borderline.

I too am now, as of today, decision rendered.

Last year I know an early tip off for decisions was a change in the fees section on status check. Anyone showing a seat deposit balance was accepted and anyone not showing it obviously wasn't. Anyone showing any changes?
