I'm visiting the week after their Spring Break. I was waiting for them to put together some kind of admitted students week, but apparently that isn't going to happen anytime soon based off my call to admissions. I am hoping to get some kind of idea if the scholarship would be negotiable before seat deposits are due while I am there.

Accepted with $18,500 yearly renewable scholarship!
For those asking, admitted students weekend is April 6th. There are also a number of other receptions/dinners/events around the same time. I currently live in the DC area so I'll definitely go check it out. Hope to see some of you there!

Has anyone talked to a current student about their experience? I'm waiting to get into the FB group... but haven't been accepted in yet apparently.
Also, I know Catholic must be at least a little conservative, but exactly how conservative is it?

Is anyone else attending? Or will I be the only one in class?

has anyone asked them to extend the deposit deadline? I really don't want to put down money before the open house

Yes, I did. They were very accommodating, I got a week and a half extension.

Hello everyone,
I'll be moving to the DC area from Miami, FL to start classes this fall. I've been in contact with admissions, faculty, current students and alumni. So far everyone has been really great; I'm looking to starting classes. Just submitted my deposit earlier this week; I will also be applying to the Comparative and International Law Institute. Who else will be attending CUA?

Did anyone go to the admitted students festival over the weekend? My laziness did not allow me to leave the house, and I was wondering what impression everyone got of the school?

Re: Catholic Law 2012-2013
Admitted student to here, American, and a few other schools in NY, PA, NJ, and MA. Took a tour at Catholic recently, was pleasantly surprised. They are fairly small, and from what I get from people I've spoken to in the DC law community, they're really well regarded locally. Nice community too. I was worried after my tour at American, where some of the students/admissions officers were kind of rude, but they were so nice and friendly there. Kinda refreshing. Tour guide was awesome...she was a second year blonde chick who was absolutely hilarious and super hot. Between her and the girl who works at the admissions front desk I was ready to put down my deposit for them alone. Someone upthread asked how conservative the school was, from my tour it didn't seem too bad. The tour guide wasn't even Catholic, and she said she rarely experiences with the religious aspect of the school.
