My application was sent and complete 11/6, and I got a second "App Complete" notification today.

Checking in. Went complete 11/1 and got a status update to second complete on 11/29. Really hoping I can get in here as I live in Chicago and want to stay local.

Checking in. I went to visit Loyola Chicago last year and fell in love with it!!! I submitted my application Nov 1. Went complete Nov 5. And then the date changed again this week to Nov. 26.
I know they say on their website we won't know until February but is that always the case? Is there no chance to know before the new year?

According to the thread from last year, some people heard at the end of January. Hopefully, the same rings true this year.

thank you! I just checked LSN and it seems like January 23rd was a big release day. Here's hoping it is the same or sooner for us!

I'd say you are almost guaranteed acceptance, their 75% is 160, and with test takers dropping, theyre gonna want your 161.

Thanks, worried about the lower GPA though. I have great WE over the past 2 years with strong connections for post law school so I think that should offset the GPA.

Hey was wondering what are 3L's saying at Loyola with regard to placements. Any info you can give about employment after passing out of loyola?

Granted I don't know a ton of 3Ls, the vast majority of 3Ls that I do know have secured jobs for after graduation, some of them even at large firms in Chicago. Many have gotten offers after previous SA positions.
I know this can be said about many schools, but Loyola truly has an exceptional alumni network. There is no lack of networking opportunities here, which is extremely useful when looking for a job down the road.

So does anyone know if Loyola will usually match scholarships with DePaul and Kent? I know in the past it was harder because those schollys had GPA stips, but both of my scholarships to those two schools are substantially larger than last year with no stips. Really hoping for Loyola!

Thats a really good question, i got good money from depaul with no stips, if loyola matches it will make it a contender in my decision.
