Re: Chapman Law c/o 2016
Just withdrew. I had a full ride, so that will free up a lot of money for people. I hope they give my spot to someone on the waitlist who really wanted it, and are able to use that money for other students looking to attend. Good luck everyone.

From what I've read, the campus is beautiful and the people there are all very nice and welcoming. Try and talk to a few students. Let us know how it goes.

I have not received any financial aid information and I got my acceptance package back in March. What do you guys think I should do?

Email them and confirm that there will be no offer. Let them know that you want to evaluate the decision in the proper context, and that if you are going to receive aid at some point you'd like to know!150s_or_bust wrote:I have not received any financial aid information and I got my acceptance package back in March. Sent an them an email today and they came back with an automated reply.....that listed SPAM in the title. WOW thanks for thinking stuff people on the waitlist send in must be spam. And Im not wait listed I'm accepted and no it wasn't SPAM. But the email was talking about waitlist and we've put in your file.....hahaha it was a question about touring.
Bad impression guys.

Can you elaborate? Maybe copy and paste the subject of the email you describe? It sounds more like their reply was sent to your spam folder, but I could be wrong. Clarification would certainly help.mewalke1 wrote:Sent an them an email today and they came back with an automated reply.....that listed SPAM in the title. Which email did you use? If touring is what you seek then Mr. Colby Carter is the man to get in contact with.

No wasn't sent to my spam folder. It was a generic reply to what they considered a spam email. and Im not gonna post it because Im 99% sure that some schools have admissions people on the forum.

Your assumptions aren't misguided. Just curious how they sent it! No worries, though.mewalke1 wrote:digifly wrote:Can you elaborate? Maybe copy and paste the subject of the email you describe? Yea, I think I will be at Chapman unless I get off the waitlist at Loyola.150s_or_bust wrote:I am. What about you?

Re: Chapman Law c/o 2016
I think it's fair to say that Chapman will have an extremely small class of 2016. The total law school applicant pool has decreased substantially (15-20% as of March) and I am certain that 3rd and 4th tier schools like Chapman have felt an even greater decrease this cycle. Push hard for scholarship increases- you will get them.
Oh and in case you weren't aware, you're a total fucking dumbass if you plan on taking out loans to pay sticker for this school. Yeah the school looks beautiful and the location is wonderful and the faculty is solid but the job prospects are horrible. Make a smart decision and try and get off the waitlist at a higher ranked school.
That's just my opinion. Good luck.
