I was told that it was "very likely that they won't come out until early next week" a few minutes ago.

not JL or MAC, just standard officer worker at the adcomm office, so take it with a grain of salt. But not getting my hopes too high for today

that would be a pretty..terrible choice. Not that I wouldn't understand the rationale behind it...but delaying scholarships just to review such a small group of people wouldn't make that much sense. Scores aren't even out yet, and then they would need time to actually review those scores/applications and then compare them to existing apps and re-evaluate their standing as far as medians, projected yield, budget constraints etc... That would delay the entire the process at least two weeks.

I had a little dustup with some of the "elite" crowd in the Harvard thread earlier today, too. I think what annoyed me the most was the sense of exclusion in what is basically a public, anonymous INTERNET forum. Riiiiiight. But I guess they're prospective Harvard students, so they can't help themselves.
