Ironically I'm getting my best offers from schools where I'm just at the median, but getting waitlisted by schools who I'm around the 75ths or better....

medians are a safe buy, whereas schools won't know how usefull ppl over 75ths will be until later in the cycle. Either way, you should be encouraged!

My mom just said "you're applying for the class of 2016! That's in 3 years! Are law schools already booked that far in advanced!" She's confused.

I saw that yesterday. I like how making changes within only the ratemyprofessor criteria can change the ranking of one school from #56 to #5. That's the real problem here.
