+1

Even half-ride is only 5K less than Temple at full price.

For sure, Who knows, maybe with the decline in applications and matriculations, they will pass out a little more coin. Would definitely make justifying going to Pitt a little bit easier

Checking in! I'm retaking in December. Pitt would be nice if for no other reason than, besides Temple, it's the only school I'm applying to with family nearby.

Anyone send in an app and not receive a message back yet? Sent my app in on 11/12 and haven't even gotten a "received" message yet.

Complete 11/14, Under review as of 11/26... very very anxious! Now that I'm starting to get decisions back I've been semi-obsessively checking "Status Check" (p.s. if you guys don't have it yet lsstatuscheck.com is a lifesaver, allows you to put all your logins into one program)

Grats to all the admits, Hope to hear back soon!

Accepted via Status Checker today!!!

3.55/163 URM (AA/White)

I will most likely be withdrawing, depending on other acceptances/scholarships, etc.

Accepted today via status checker, non-URM resident, 168 / 3.06... excited and it's definitely an option for me because in-state tuition isn't too bad! Can anyone speak to how they tend to allocate scholarships?

I applied also and attened Pitt for undergrad. From what I have heard from admissions people and friends that currently attend, 3.4 and a 160 usually is a guaranteed $10,000/yr. Higher than that I am not sure what the money amounts are but have hear Pitt has been stingy in recent years with money and heard they very rarely give out full rides.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
