Help with moot situation!

Post by kevink7m » Fri Nov 16, 2012 5:24 am

So im in my undergrad and there is an undergrad moot competition coming up. The case is very short about 10 pages in length for the appellant and the respondent. However, when I search the case up on a legal case website, I found the exact same case with the full arguments made by both sides including the judgement which is around 50 pages. My question is why would they use a case that already exists which students can research and copy and use as their argument? The judges are lawyers working at top firms so I feel like they would know about this. Any advice?

Not only is this the wrong forum for this post, but also we do not allow multiple threads devoted to the same topic. In the future, one thread please.
