Was accepted today with a $60,000 scholarship.

I would need to negotiate that up to $100,000 for it to be feasible... don't see that as likely but worth the shot.

Anyone know if they are willing to negotiate at all?

This might be a silly question, but I received an email today saying this:

"I write to offer you a fee waiver, expedited review, and an opportunity to receive a $20,000 merit scholarship [per year]. Based upon a preliminary evaluation of your outstanding academic record and credentials, you would be an ideal candidate for our program. This scholarship would be renewable for all three years as long as you remain in good academic standing and would cover a substantial part of the cost of your legal education."

I have a 3.9x and 161. Do you think that upon reviewing my application (pretty good softs) they would consider me for the $120k, or do you think I would only be eligible for the $60k?

Maybe more than 20K, but not too much more. I have a 160 and 3.9x, and I was offered $60,000. I don't think a 1 point difference in LSAT could make that big of a difference in their offer, but hey, I could be wrong.

Lololol the notion of someone seeking out a facebook group of admitted law students, of all places, to ask if any of them know of a divorce attorney is priceless

He still appears to be a member of the group, which is puzzling in itself since it's a closed group.....

I interviewed for a specific scholarship range a month ago and haven't heard back. mistake on their part or are they probably not interested for some reason? I'll call them but I'm wondering if anybody has experience with this with Indiana or if it was just an error.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
