Did anyone else notice that the status checker says to join the Iowa Law: Class of 2015 facebook group? It'd be nice if they updated this and made a 2016 fb page.

I emailed the admissions office over the weekend to see if there are any opportunities to speak with other admitted students about housing etc., they said once they sort out the deposits from the first of the month they will be setting up and inviting us to the c/o 2016 Facebook group.

You should also make your own, private group. That way you can set up pre-orientation week social events and such without the administration being able to see everything you do.

Anyone knows how does the Waitlist worked out last cycle? Ugh :/ was on the Preliminary Waitlist and moved to the OFFICIAL Waitlist April 1st.

Waitlist saw movement all the way up to a few days before orientation. It's the trickle down effect... For example, Harvard goes to the waitlist and some Michigan kids jump ship, so Michigan goes to the waitlist and WUSTL kids jump ship, WUSTL goes to the waitlist and Iowa kids jump ship, so Iowa goes to the waitlist.

WOW, just got an email offering full tuition scholarship. I wasn't even seriously considering Iowa, but I think it's probably in my interest to start driving West to take a look soon.

Definitely do this. The Hawks haven't been good as of late, but they are positioned to have a pretty solid season finally. And the football games are a BLAST.
