I get what you mean by unnecessarily helpful, but above all I was distracted by the deposit reimbursement. I really wish other schools did this.

Though, I do appreciate the dean coming on here and apprising us of the situation. While it sucks having to wait, it's better than the 3 other schools at which I have no idea what's going on.

Not 100% sure yet. I still haven't heard from five schools, but GULC gave me 90k, so that's pretty much my "floor" now. Put my first seat deposit in there today to keep my scholly spot.

I'm right here with you. I've wasted an awful lot of time trying to read the signs on whether it's a good or bad thing that we're in that fated "small, last group". Good luck!

I agree... it seems we're all splitters in some sense, I'm reverse with a 162 3.74 but really hoping for some positive news!

I don't know if mine is non-priority. The letter does contain the following: "We offer the waitlist option to a very select group of applicants." If that's what you mean by unnecessarily hopeful, then yes, I got the same thing. Looking through the thread, it looks like other waitlisted 0Ls got the same email. It can't be that select of a group then, can it? Well, we'll see. I also got into Georgia, so I'm not sweating.

Received a priority waitlist offer earlier today. Given my abominable GPA, I am thrilled with this! Also, as others have mentioned, the personal and candid email is much appreciated and speaks highly to their efforts. I know people here have been tough on them because decisions can take a while, but I think this is one of the more pleasant admissions teams that I've interacted with. Good luck to all those still waiting to hear and congrats to those with good news!
