Solicited a fee waiver last week and heard back in less than 24 hours. Application was sent in early this week. Still no status checker but it appears that Loyola is known for being very late/delayed with their status checker.

160/166/3.59

Applied last year but got in with $0. Retook, got a 166, hoping to get quite a bit of $. Really hoping to stay near L.A. and I think I'm a bit of a long shot at USC and UCLA.

My LSAC GPA is the same-ish and I applied last year with a lower 160 and got 69k, so I definitely think you're solid for major $$$...

If I had to guess you're gonna get a first offer of 96k (which I think is the third tier) at minimum.

Congrats on the LSAT jump.

I think I applied early December and didn't receive my acceptance until mid February. Would go back into my emails for an exact date but I'm stuck at work.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll get something with 166. I also applied, international applicant 168/3.92.

checking in... applied early decision 11/29 status on LSAC updated to complete on 12/1. No status checker from Loyola yet. 159/3.48
majored in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peace Building. Graduated top ten percent of my class, cum laude, honors in major and member of phi kappa phi honors society. Strong letters of recommendation from professors with ties to the school and strong personal statement...what do you think...any chance? Anyone else apply early decision?

Wait. 3.48 is cum laude? Yikes, did you go to MIT?

Yes, 3.48 at my school is cum laude. I attended CSUDH and no, sad to say, I am not a URM.

In any case, you're just underneath the GPA median and at the 25th for LSAT... with an ED... I'd say you have a fairly good shot based upon what I saw in the past two LMU applicant threads. People with similar numbers were admitted and I'd venture to say a binding ED will look favorable.

I don't know about you guy's but..I am starting to think that the lack of interest in this thread by other applicants may be a favorable indication that there may be less competition out there this cycle  haha

maybe so, but i'm pretty sure that loyola doesn't inform people of whether they got in or not until pretty late. most of the big threads are for schools that have already begun letting people in
