In w/ 90k! 3.56/166. Now here's to hoping I hear back from others soon.. hopefully Hastings will give me some good money so I can negotiate with Loyola, that's like the only peer school in Cali that will work i think, besides Pepperdine.

Yeah same here, I got the 90k offer. Are you just going to try negotiating for the 96k? I was thinking of doing that as well. And congrats!

Is the 96K a named scholarship thing or is it just some number other people have gotten? Ideally I want to negotiate as much as possible. I'm above both their medians, over 75 in LSAT, so I think I could get a little more hopefully. Can't do anything until I hear back from other schools though, probably.

I just clicked "Join"--I think it's just because the admin has to let us in first

Unfortunately that didn't work. I tried copying and pasting the link, trying Firefox instead of Safari, etc. haha! All that happens when I click the link is that it redirects me to a LLS.edu link and then to the Facebook homepage. Odd.

Has anyone visited the school or can anyone speak to the location of it/campus quality? Is there a thread on this anywhere? I am familiar with LA but used to live in a bubble on the West side..

There is some discussion on this a couple pages back. The area is a little dicey, but the more I go over there the more it grows on me. It is just on the other side of the 110 from LA Live. The area is a little worn and there are lots of apartment buildings in the neighborhood side streets that seem a little worn. There are probably some reasonable rental deals around. It's not a glitsy part of DT really by any stretch, but is near some of the attractions, like Staples.

The campus itself is very nice and seems quite secure. The buildings are all relatively modern. The classrooms, library, computer lab, and office areas are all very nice. The entire campus is enclosed by a perimeter fence and security apparently does a good job of keeping out any local riff raff.

You should arrange a tour. I had been by the campus during winter and have driven around the neighborhood on the weekends, but going during the week when the place was in full swing gave me a different feel for it.

Don't know whether it's good or bad, but either way my mind is racing.

IN!!!!! I have been in love with Loyola from the start and I can't wait to start my career here. If you're considering this place, just come and visit!! The campus is amazing, its such a cool community because its exclusively for law students. It is so diverse and the people are so nice. Good luck to everyone!!
