Seems like there hasn't been too much movement as of late with status updates/acceptances. Maybe another wave is coming soon? Please?

There were no more spaces when I tried as well. Would like to know what was said, though. I do think it was recorded and will be made available for playback. Still, anyone that wants to share the gist feel free!

My status just went complete today. I turned in apps 2/8, I think went complete around 2/16, so about a month. I am pretty sure I got in. I met with the Dean of Enrollment in Jan and he straight up said that my application is strong, he said it'll be a matter of whether I get scholly money. He was very nice and straightforward. So I am looking forward to see if I get money (that's if I get in, pretty sure I will) and how much I get and what kind of stipulations.

So are you back to considering LLS again? Or are you just looking to go to a networking event.dproduct wrote:Hello Dodgers

they're still accepting apps, trying to fill spots. maybe send a letter emphasizing it's your #1MASSattack1 wrote:Seems like there hasn't been too much movement as of late with status updates/acceptances. Maybe another wave is coming soon? Please?

I actually sent one a couple of days ago updating them on my grades and continued interest. I told them it was my #1, so we'll see.shawn1234 wrote:they're still accepting apps, trying to fill spots. maybe send a letter emphasizing it's your #1MASSattack1 wrote:Seems like there hasn't been too much movement as of late with status updates/acceptances. Unfortunately I got the impersonal response, "We will add this to your file."

Definitely still considering. Honestly, if it weren't for the stips, I'd probably just attend. But I'm still annoyed by them. Such a TTT thing.CO2016YEAH wrote:So are you back to considering LLS again? Or are you just looking to go to a networking event.dproduct wrote:Hello Dodgers

Re: Loyola (Los Angeles) c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Right. I'm not a fan of the stips, but the offer is still not too bad and there are a number of reasons why LLS is a good fit for me. The school still has an excellent reputation in SoCal and I believe the training and support are there. The drop is rank and Usnw employment data are disappointing; USD and Pepp both did better, even if o ly marginally so. LLS has a bigger class than both of those, though, and according to the letter from the dean posted above class size is going to be reduced. Appart from the tough job market I think the school is a good fit for me.dproduct wrote:Definitely still considering. Honestly, if it weren't for the stips, I'd probably just attend. I think pretty much everyone (save for the few Dean's and Burns scholars) have the 3.2 or better stip.

Speaking of the Dean, did anyone manage to get in on the video q&a session the other day? If so, can you share the gist of it? Thanks.

Hey guys n gals,
Just letting you all know that the FAFSA information (if you entered LLS's school code) has been processed and estimated award letters will be going out this week.
I emailed them specifically asking about this, and I got two responses, from two different people/e-mail addresses. So one of them may have been an automated message to everyone, but if it was not, just letting you all know to be expecting some information in the mail from Loyola.

Hey guys. Does anyone know if Loyola has some sort of 1L orientation before classes start or something? I didn't see anything like that on the website but maybe I just missed it. (Not like an admitted student day but like an orientation in the summer that you have to go to.)
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
