Complete 10/10, Waitlisted via email 02/07. Although I'm honored that they considered me for a waitlist spot, I have officially withdrawn. GL to everyone still waiting!

Well, now we wait. It looks like MD has used both letters and emails for acceptances.

Rather not say until I get a decision, haha. I'm pegging a WL after balancing the numbers and softs out.

Same here, though it's backdated to 2/4, oddly.

FWIW: when I had a "decision" on my file, I was instantly emailed from Maryland with a "Here's your brand new student ID, thanks". But no official decision came through for a few days by mail. I assumed if I was getting a student ID and could access ASW, I was a winner. Turns out, that's what it meant.

Not necessarily, I was admitted a while ago and I never received an e-mail or any notice until my letter came in the mail.

BTW: Acceptance letter is a single sheet of paper. I never got a packet or binder or anything.

hey all,

first time posting on this forum. Went to "decision rendered" today. No emails. Seems like those who got waitlisted hear via email and those who get in might get a student ID number email but no official acceptance until the mailing arrives. I haven't heard about how people get dinged though. this is nerve wrecking.

Agreed! Is MD a top choice for you?

It is. It's also a good indicator of how the rest of my DC area applications might go. A ding at Maryland probably isn't a good sign for Mason or GW. Otherwise I'm in at Georgia and American so far. How about you? Maryland towards the top of your list?

Not particularly (mainly because, as I said earlier, I fucked up my PS with a pretty silly gaffe). Having said that, an acceptance at MD is one more bit of leverage I may have in trying to get off the GW wait list/a decent indication of how my Mason application will be handled.

Here's hoping to a fast and painless acceptance email!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
