Eh. I'm gonna be total silver lining guy but it's way better to get it tonight rather than the masses who are going to wake up to it in the morning.

I hope you got into H and S at least.

So sleepy. May just go to bed and wake up tomorrow to survey the bloodbath.

this 1 am email thing is very passover-appropriate. my friend and I are texting furiously and if he hasn't heard back I can only assume good news?
On that same night I will pass through TLS and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgment on all the gods of TlS. I am the Lord. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike.

So if this is the second wave, then the next two weeks should see a lot of movement.

I probably wouldn't even have applied to yale until a brochure and web chat invitation made me think I had a chance...

but I'm a proud owner of a JS2 as of last week so no complaints here :)

There are usually 30 dings on LSN per wave, and there's only 10 at the moment. If nothing happens by 3 AM, I'd say it's over, and a bunch of people will update in the morning.

Dinged as well. Can't say I am terribly shocked. Some of us were just not meant for the big time. GL to all admitted, let me know when you need a clerk

I'm still waiting since the fall with no contact. So I'm assuming WL if I'm not rejected still tonight.

Well where are you going? Announce it similar to an entitled 18 year old signing a sports scholarship. This really is TLS's destiny.

Dinged... 174/3.9 so not entirely surprising. Not too let down though; I have no desire to go back home to CT and particularly not to New Haven. Interesting though because so many people getting dinged seem to have some association with econ or finance (I'm partially an econ major and wrote my 250 on bank defaults). Wonder if that's actually a pattern or I'm just crazy...

Edited because I forgot complete date - 1/11

Condolensces to all the rejected, especially in advance to those who will wake up to a rejection email to start their day.

Had I applied to yale, today would have been my ding, so I am honorary midnight reject.
