its time like these when the mail app checking itself every minute is not quite enough... and in my stupidity I sent out a couple funny links this morning so my inbox is blowing up

Just received my rejection email. I feel as though I am slowly dying inside. And yet, I also feel a sense of relief: no need to move away from my friends and community, no need to sell our house... I guess I will just take my full-ride offer to another school and cry myself to sleep tonight. Gosh, I feel just awful!

not that i need to understand it, but i still dont get why the FB group count was so much lower this year than any recent year in the past
