They have already read over 2/3 of their apps, if not more. I think they know how to allocate their funds. Furthermore, I wanted to make sure that they were sending out Merit scholarships before another schools deadline. If they told me they would not be out till say April 14, my decision would have been heavily impacted.
You know that schools offer at least 2x their actual amount of merit awards because they have forecasting models and yield projections, right? So you really think they've already offered 4 mil (when they have 2 mil), despite only rendering decisions on like 2/3s of their applications? There's just no way.

I knew they had the money, the question was when will be it released. Which they answered.

Really? "Hope to have them out by the end of the month " is an answer?

Which they followed up with, "at the end of next week" (which I presume to mean Thursday/Friday), which is pretty specific.

Did not realize that getting information and sharing it with fellow TLSers was going to result in such a backlash.

UCR 2 today, been UCR1 since 1/18, applied 12/12/12. The notice at the top of the page about when to expect decisions has disappeared so idk if this is indicative of a pending decision or what???

Hey! I'll be volunteering at ASD tomorrow. Instead of messing with my name tag, I'll be wearing a bright pink silk scarf so you guys know who I am. Look fwd to meeting y'all! :)

I sent the negotiation letter last Monday but didn't hear back yet...
Should I send it again? I sent the mail to their email address for admitted students.

$18k per year, today via email.

In on 2/13. Hopefully this means that everyone else will start getting scholarship info soon.

Looking forward to seeing some of you at ASD tomorrow.

I feel so left out :(

I got in on 1/25 but no word on scholly since then...

Is this because I applied for the Public Service Scholarship? :|
