How did you approach going back and renegotiating an already negotiated number? Did you get additional scholarships from other schools or just pushed back on wanting more? Curious because I'm still hesitant on bc with my current negotiated offer.
PM'd

I'm curious as well. How did you go about negotiating?

BC ASD tomorrow, I'm excited!

Very cool, BC just offered me a scholarship for 18k a year, 54k total.

I was accepted yesterday and sent them an email regarding potential scholarships shortly after my acceptance.

In the scholarship email it apparently says that the scholarship did not take into account need-based considerations and it encouraged me to fill out FAFA, which I completed a few months ago.

When I was accepted to BU, I received a scholarship and then a few weeks later received an unsolicited increase pursuant to my financial situation as outlined in the need-access form. As the deadline is rapidly approaching, should I inquire as to whether I will be receiving additional, need-based aid or should I just sit tight and wait?

Thanks in advance for any advice or analysis.

Congrats.

When were you accepted? We have similar numbers and I haven't even been able to get a response from BC yet haha.

Has anyone gotten a scholarship offer that was not from a negotiation?

Yes, about a month ago (I was accepted in early Jan), and then I did end up negotiating it up a bit as well.

I'm trying to get a picture of how much money people in my numbers range are getting from BC to see if there is room for improvement on my current offer. 164/3.6, PM me if you don't want to post publicly, thanks in advance!

Has anyone received need based aid so far? And, has anyone heard about the public interest scholarship?

I don't understand what is taking BC so long. I've been complete since early January, have a 169 LSAT (lower GPA- 3.1 but with a very reasonable addendum), have visited and expressed interest, and I still have yet to hear back from them regarding a decision.

Why are they so slow?

Went to ASD today and received a second offer from BC as well, which upped my scholly by 3K per year. Going to send in my deposit soon, as today made it clear that BC is a pretty ideal fit for me. And the money is right, too.

Good luck all, see some of you in the fall!
