I suppose this is the age old, sticker at a T1 versus Full-ride+stipend at a T2. I'm curious for some input.
Frankly, I have no clue how they'd react, but I definitely think it's worth a try! I think they'd understand that it's hard to turn down a full ride anywhere for sticker...
On a related note - I negotiated with BU and BC once already and would like to bring my new offer from BC back to BU to see if they'll match since I'm leaning more toward BU at this point. Is it ok to go back and try to negotiate a second time like this? It feels obnoxious, but I'm really looking to minimize debt.
Some of the posters in this thread
http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =7&t=27221 advocate strongly for a negotiating strategy that calls for asking a second time for a reconsideration. I was successful at the one place I tried this at (though a T2 school), so I think it's definitely worth a try!
I know what you mean though - it made me a little uncomfortable to ask again when I was thankful that they negotiated once.
Personally I'm still waiting to hear back on my first scholly from BU, fingers crossed!

Haha thanks for the well wishes, but after waiting weeks within 20min. of this message the Admissions Office notified me that they can't offer me any merit aid
Looks like I'll be withdrawing - BU at sticker sounds a bit absurd - but good luck everyone else!

Third completion date last night. Is this a sign of an imminent decision?

Well it was worth the long wait... received a $40k/yr. scholarship via email today!
Makes my decision that much harder.

Thank you! I've got a feeling that's the best offer I'm gonna receive this cycle. BU just moved to the top of my list for the time being, that's for sure.

I've been at "Application Complete" since mid February, but the date changed to 4/4 today (same status, though) and my Country of Citizenship says "USA" now. Pretty sure it didn't before, and I know at some other schools (e.g. Georgetown) this is a sign that you have been admitted. Thoughts?

I'm following the Georgetown discussion as well, also had a date change to 4/4 with citizenship noted in the status checker, and was wondering the same thing: is having citizenship added to the status checker a precursor to acceptance for BU? Can anyone on the wait list let us know if your citizenship is showing in status check?

Thanks for the information. At least we know not to read too much into the tea leaves now.

Congrats to you, really.
But JEEZ BU I'm kinda insulted. You're admitting 155s and waitlist me with 169? I dont get it.
But Congrats to you!
