I chose to forgo my interview because it took too long to get assigned (and my interviewer never responded) and would rather have my app completed sooner. In addition, it's pretty hard for me to get off work and I definitely do not want to risk getting assigned and canceling the interview later on.
I think I heard a certain % of interviewed applicants are accepted or something? Anybody have the data? How about those who didn't interview?
What are your numbers/work experience? That will more accurately predict your chances of acceptance than anything else.
~3.1 174
Graduated last year, started working Aug. From LSN seems like my numbers is a WL, then accept with WE, and ding without.
But who knows how many of these people interviewed

Applied Mid October - 3.79 gpa + masters / 170 / TFA / - Accepted late December
Congrats! You can make it up to us by withdrawing quickly once you make a decision on which school you'd like to attend of the at least 8 you were accepted to in December.

Also, my status updated yesterday from 11/8/12 to 1/8/13. I didn't notice until today because I only saw the 1/8 and figured it was 11/8. Sneaky devils. Could there be news coming down from atop the mountain at the end of the week??? I know comparisons to previous cycles are especially suspect this year, but FWIW, over the past couple years, there have been batches of decisions on the first couple Fridays of January.
Some news this week would be nice -- I'm on the lookout for a tweet from Johann. I'm still at a 12/19 update from when I got my ED hold letter, though.
Tomorrow will be one week since my off campus interview and still no update/still incomplete... come on, interviewer lady. We had a lovely conversation and I offered to buy you coffee and didn't judge you for showing up in yoga pants while I was stuck wearing a stuffy business suit. Show me some love and turn in my eval! You said it would be good.

Oh well
Shall we get drunk and commiserate about how sorry they'll be that they haven't accepted us yet?
I've tried it. It usually just culminates in me wanting them more.
I have these moments where I get really, really angry at myself for making things so difficult for myself with that low LSAT and not being in a position to retake because of my stupid job.

Why does your job prevent that?
No study time from September - March/April as I learned the hard way when I took the December test the first time then postponed from February. We are now even more incredibly short staffed and that period is a time when I'm still at meetings at 9-10 at night and trying to study for the LSAT as well. And unfortunately I don't have the option of sitting out a cycle for personal reasons so I have to take my lumps with this cycle.
I mean, I can't complain. It's exceeded my expectations thus far.

Gotcha, sounds like an intense few months for you. I guess if you can't wait a cycle then it's a moot point anyway.

checking back in, booked my flight today for 1/31 trip to chicago there and back in one day from nyc haha. NU or bust. should have just gotten an off campus before 12/1 im such an idiot. They say my file is going to be incomplete until the interview. Will they atleast have it ready to crank through committee right after my interview? Or will it go complete 2/1 and then take another 6 weeks or whatever to receive a decision like the normal post-complete timeline at schools.
also does nu review ur app before your interview? can you gauge their behavior to figure out how if they want you or not? ie more selling of nu vs. grilling of you
alwayssunny your gif makes it difficult for me to visit the nu thread at work dawg
edited to change nw to nu. probably fucked up my application too
