Here's a photo of a classroom that you may not have seen at ASW. Nice view of the lake.

Withdrawing today. I LOVE NU, but it doesn't make financial sense for me. :|

So the deposit deadline tomorrow is only for those who have already received a financial aid offer, right?

It's also for those on the waitlist. You have to deposit to stay on the waitlist at NU.

Yeah, I have no idea what that was from. It was too big for most mugs, and it had turned the clear varnish on the wood desk milky. What does that?

From my experience, the only thing that takes off varnish like that is nail polish remover  And I have no idea why someone would bring a giant bottle of it to school lol

I won't ID them, so don't even ask, but there are two TLSers (that I know of) in that photo.

andreskicdo: did you just get in? If so, it seems they're sending out decisions today ...

Meanwhile, the 2 year JD applicants still haven't heard anything.

Johann tweeted on March 21 that the AJD class was full and wl movement would only happen to compensate for attrition

I think Cambridge was referring to the 2-year JD program for international students, not AJD

Yes, sorry for the confusion, I was. Given that I interviewed in December and submitting in early January, it's been quite a while on hold waiting for a decision. Also, when I called at the very beginning of April, I was told that applicants would hear back "in the next two weeks."

Northwestern is my top choice ... I just want to be able to close out my applications cycle so I can focus on finals. (Law finals are not "fun" here, we don't get to bring in outlines at all. For some classes you get a "case list", but that is considered a new experiment).

Congratulations to those committing, and I hope you all enjoy Chicago!

This. Good luck everyone else. I had a really hard time with this decision, but I think I made the right one for myself. And if you ever get a chance to see the Bears lose to the Packers at Soldier Field, do it.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
