So so far, it seems like no one else but AMOS has heard back today, huh? He's it on LSN.

Does anyone know if SLS has an average timeframe for calls? HLS is an hour or two, YLS is 3 hours when they tweet.

I am not aware of any time frame. The school does not seem to give any notice about when it does call, how many people it will be calling, and how long it will be making calls. I have read about SLS calling early in the morning and during the afternoon. I would say it is unpredictable.

Scumbag Stanford:

Demands applicants take an active role in the admissions process.

Doesn't take active role in the admissions process.

So I caved and sent the pre-decision LOCI today (my numbers are lolz worthy and I was submitted for review 12/1). Response email was less than enthusiastic. I now expect an expedited DLS.

What was the response? I wouldn't dream of getting anything more than, "thank you, this information has been added to your file."

Yeah, that's what Ive generally gotten. This was just "Thank you". I'm 100% overreacting.

I got the same. It essentially just said "thanks for your email," not even that the information would be added to my file. They probably knew that my DLS is about to be sent and they shouldn't worry about it.

Sorry if this has been answered... tried to search it and couldn't find anything.

Not that this will ever happen to me but is the change to lowercase something that shows up on the L.S. Status Checker?

Yeah...meant that to be comforting, ended up sounding like self-pity. I blame the internet.

it could have been genuine - hls and butler are almost completely numbers driven whereas yls/sls much more soft driven

az and MOTM were both mid- to late January complete dates who have already been accepted. Not sure about the dings, though.

We should all just withdraw right now. This is what people who get into Stanford can do.
