So anyone else running out of things to watch on Netflix?

Never! Yesterday I came home from work at 3 because I might have the flu - I watched Mean Girls, Clueless, and Heathers. Today I've been alternating between Gossip Girl and American Horror Story. What's in your queue?

Well I meant only shows really since they are the only things that keep my mind off the waiting game.

Don't think I could stomach Gossip Girl but is American Horror Story good?

Someone mentioned that the ad com can check how often you log onto the status checker.

In this blog post from last year, Dean Z proves that they do track how often you attempt to log onto the admitted students site.

I was fascinated to see that, of the 502 people who had tried to access the admitted students site prior to being admitted, 73 did so just once; 273 did so 10 times or more; 50 did so 50 times or more; 6 tried 100 times or more; and one dedicated individual tried 215 times. I promise, though, that I will await the end of the admission season to look up identities. And if Mr./Ms. 215 turns out to be in the entering class, I’m going to present him/her with a customized T-shirt

Still early in the season friends. Although I must admit that more and more doubt creeps in whenever I log on to my status checker and nothing has changed. If we don't hear back before the new year then I agree, we aren't getting in.

well if people with virtually identical stats who went complete on the same day as you are hearing back before you are, it seems like that can mean only two things:

1. they are going to WL/deny you, but haven't gotten around to notifying you yet
2. they need more time to look over your application

neither of which seems good...

3. They get thousands of applications. They are human beings who probably get paid by the hour, not by how fast they get through applications.

Everyone posting has amazing numbers and I'm sure if you are this committed then you would likely make a great contribution to this school. Stay strong my friends! Your time will come

A friend of mine works in admissions for undergrad, and in his office, the staff of readers splits up applicants by geographic region. It's entirely possible Michigan splits theirs up by some similar factor and whoever has yours is just going at a different pace right now. There isn't a perfect order to how everyone gets reviewed and I think it will all even out in the end. And if you've got competitive numbers, why would they turn those away this cycle?? We're all getting stressed and starting to freak out now that the cycle's in full swing, but realize we're still really early. Keep your heads up!

I had Breaking Bad in there. I've watched all episodes of AD so I forgot that. I haven't watched a single Mad Men episode. Is it like Suits, but in the 60s (minus the lawyer stuff)? That's the feeling I get from its commercials. Why the fudge isn't Suits on streaming Netflix?

so i'm still trying to get an idea when decisions roll out. I've heard Wednesday is the day they typically do so, is that correct? I've also seen posts that people find out on other days but that just could be because they aren't anal about checking the web portal... I know they only refresh the page once a day, even though i check it multiple times just in case.

I'm with ya. I liked the Isaak stuff, then that sputtered out a bit early. Now I'm just waiting for LaGuerta to eat it.

Yes. It updates every day on Complete. Probably to keep TLSers from blatant speculation.
