LOL at my FinAid package UVA. Not a lot of aid!

So they sent you something already??? I haven't received anything yet. Anybody else get something?

I did as well. I got nothing beyond my merit scholarship.

Oddly though I got a little over $16,000 in need aid from UCLA and so far none everywhere else.

I guess I look poorer in Cali

I'm pretty sure if you get any merit scholarships from UVA, you won't get need-based.

And it looks like, with my current offer, I would be taking just shy of 35k per year in loans (although 2L and 3L I won't have to worry about loans for CoL).

Got accepted (170, 3.5X), was told that I should hear about scholarship around the beginning of April. I never sent a "why UVA" or really anything other than the minimum. Is it worth sending anything extra to try to sweeten the pot for scholarship, or at this point should I just wait it out? I'm a Virginia resident (probably why I got accepted with those numbers).
