I remember you were very active in the June LSAT threads. Hope you hit your goal in October.
Hey, thanks man.

yeeeaaaaah June thread. What happened to all of the people, huh? That guy who was scoring crazy high on his PTs, with the picture of Archer for his avatar, what happened to that guy? He was HYS for sure, if he wants it.

I miss June thread, but I am not sure where he is at. Did you end up doing well on enough on June?

Well fuck...anyone else above both medians not get a fee waiver yet?

I don't have a hidden waiver. I did get a Chicago waiver in January or February for the 2011-12 cycle though.

U Chicago sent me an unsolicited waiver today! It was a nice surprise - I thought unsolicited waiver season was just about over.

Does anyone know Chicago's policy about refunding application fees? I submitted my app saturday but just received the unsolicited waiver email today.

Also got a fee waiver this afternoon. Below both medians, hovering at or slightly above both 25ths. Anyone else get one with stats that poor?

Should I play their reindeer games and up their selectivity or save my $20 bucks? Or might this be a sign they took a median hit this year? Maybe this cycle will be epic after all...

I'm a splitter (above median LSAT and well below 25% GPA) and didn't get a fee waiver. Probably won't apply.

Maybe they just know you're going to go to Harvard anyway so no point in letting you tease them with an app?

Maybe there is a hidden fee waiver (silently) calling your name.

172/4.0 - I've yet to receive one either

I got a fee waiver from them today and I'm well below both their 25th percentiles for LSAT and GPA (but hopefully after October it'll just be my GPA, nothing I can do to change that now). I'd been on the fence about applying, but if I don't have to pay for it (or just have to pay for the CAS report) then I'll do it but I have a feeling I'll just be a part of their, "Look how many people we rejected," numbers. Worst case scenario I don't get in and I lost $20.

The only reason I can think of for them to send me a waiver is because my Mom went to Chicago for her MBA but I doubt that matters for the law school.

Well in that case I wouldn't complain (= Don't jinx me though!

Edit: Hallelejuah I just got my fee waiver! I really think it is tied to recommendations. I checked tonight for my fee waiver at like 8 pm or so and it wasn't there. Then I got notice at 10:30 from the LSAC that my first recommendation has been processed. I just decided to check the fee waiver again and it showed up. Woot!
