Can you go back and ask if your seat is still available?

Post by T14HopefulAK » Wed Jul 25, 2012 12:00 pm

Hi

Does anyone know if you can go back and ask a school that gave you admission, and you withdrew, to get your seat back?

Most schools will say yes. Just be prepared to have a decent excuse.

It is worth asking. I know of a few people who managed to get their seat back this cycle.

Apparently Texas has already called two TLS'ers off the reject list to offer them slots, so consider your reasoning and then present your request.

I'm sure they'll give it back to you but it might depend on the school. What tier are we talking about? T14? T1? TTT?

What are you waiting for? The longer you wait, the worse your chances. Come up with your reasons and ask for the seat back.
