I didn't see this started yet so I figured why not get the party started? Who will be joining me?

I'm hoping since first deposit was yesterday we will all be seeing some movement by the middle of the month or so.

I submitted one LOCI before I got my decision (it was my last/latest decision), and another LOCI earlier this week...trying to be optimistic!! but NYU is a huge reach for me, and I know they have a lot of WL applicants with stronger stats, so I'm not holding my breath.

where did you get the info that the first deposit was yesterday? per their website it is on May 4...

I am also bummed that their deadline is later than everyone else's. Why do you think that we won't see movement until later this month when others have gotten started soon after their deadlines?

My mistake! I thought historically it was May 1st and I went back to old waitlist forums and saw people getting responses around May 15th.

Hmm May 15th isn't TOO bad! I intend on riding this one out!

From NYC but currently lined up at a school not in NY, so I'll ride this out to the first day of classes.
