I thought the deposit was April 15th? Maybe I'm wrong. either way, I think I will send something closer to that date if it's may 1.

i went by the admissions office and asked about re-interviewing and they said they don't have that as an option but that they will be happy to add LOCIs to your file if you email them over...

admissions office told me may 1st too.

Came back from Rio to a waitlist letter...actually happy about it Sending LOCI asap.

Sent a LOCI today. Do waitlisted people ever get any $$$ if they're admitted? If not, I might as well withdraw.

I'm probably gonna send off my LOCI tomorrow. Stuck in Virginia learning to blow stuff up. Do you think they'll find that appealing? lol. VAndy is the only school I'm considering besides the "top" school that's accepted me. Is the general consensus that it's possible to get scholarship money off the waitlist, but don't hold your breath?

Waitlisted recently. I don't hold out much hope, but Vandy is (and has been from the start) by far my first choice. I love the school and location! Here's to hoping a TON of people withdraw/don't put down a deposit. I'm also sending a LOCI soon. Anyone have anything more meaningful to add to a LOCI than "please please Vandy you are my number one?"

I think I read that last year some people were offered scholarships/summer stipends as an incentive to attend last minute. Check out the Vanderbilt waitlist thread from 2011

Does Vanderbilt's website have any information on it regarding the wait list and where to send LOCIs (email or snail mail) and whether or not they accept additional LORs?

i dunno if it's on their website, but i went by the admissions office last week and they said that you are welcome to turn in both and that it is best to send it to admissions@law.vanderbilt.edu. they will print off anything that you email in and attach it to your application file.

Got my waitlist letter the other day! So excited. Vandy is my first choice. Considering sending my firstborn instead of a LOCI. Thoughts? He's really cute, it should help, I think.

haha...i've been considering taking them to Capitol Grille for lunch every day until decision time...or maybe flying them down to the Bahamas? whatever works!
