"Wierd A_s?" I simply told you that your assumption of me being a troll was wrong based on the fact that I was considering different law schools in different cycles. You are clearly an idiot. Forget about law if you were ever considering it.

In this economy, you can't afford to pass up free education. I assume you're after prestige, something going to medical school would immediately afford you regardless of where you attend. Not only that, you could apply to Harvard as a visiting student during your third and fourth years. Then again, having HLS on your resume would more than likely pay you back faster than lower-ranked schools would. It's your call, though.

Given the options of Harvard Law at sticker and ___ Medical School with a Full Ride, I'd say OP just needs to choose whether he wants to be a doctor or a lawyer. He's going to come out fine either way.

Lucky bastard.

These are two pretty general options. What type of law/medicine are you interested in practicing?

I'd take the economy and wages completely out of the equation. Medicine and law have always been highly regarded/paid professions and this will be your career for at least two or three decades. The economy will be better than it has been and chances are it'll also be worse sometime over your career. I wouldn't be so shortsighted especially if you're coming out of Harvard or med school. Start talking to every person you can about what their work entails and try and imagine yourself in the particular area you want to practice.

The name Harvard goes a long way and gives you a wider variety of careers to pursue. If you choose medicine it should be because you see no other viable path that you believe you'd ever consider and you have to be prepared to devote all your energies to it.

P.S - If you end up choosing Harvard send me a message. Most likely will be going there.

As always I appreciate the positive and constructive feedback. I saw one of these videos on a different posting and then discovered the other one soon after. THEY were "interesting." Made me think about law on many levels. Thought some of you might be interested:

think about life. act accordingly as a lawyer. I am NOT taking a position on good or bad. it just made me think about the law on a different level.
