I called today. I don't know how much info the lady I talked to knew, but she said they will be evaluating the wait list. So it sounds like they haven't gone through the list yet... I'm a bit disappointed we haven't heard anything yet.

I checked out some higher ranked law schools' deposit deadline -- June 15th for the few I checked. Makes me think they're not gonna make any movement until probably a full week after that date.

This is weird, they just said they were looking at WL students starting tomorrow morning. They asked for me to reply stating that I would attend if accepted. I am hoping it's a good sign, and I'll let y'all know if I hear anything tomorrow.

Ok, so they are going to start EVALUATING the list tomorrow? Meaning, we won't hear back til a few days later at the least. SIGH******* How have they not looked at the list already?

How binding is this email? I'm still leaning towards GSU, given that I've already found roommates and have an Atlanta apartment on hold for the fall.

It sounds like they want commitment, if you want to go to GSU then you probably shouldn't send the e-mail? It's not like they are going to take you off the WL, it just means you won't have priority tomorrow (from what I gathered from the e-mail).

If you have no intention of attending Georgia Law, I really hope and would really appreciate you not making that commitment/statement to UGA.
There are people who really want to go to UGA and would go without hesitation.

I just received a very disappointing email from Ramsey Bridges.

"We received a large number of second deposits and had no room in the class to admit anyone from the waitlist at this point. I am not sure of an exact timeline moving forward - it will depend on how many people currently admitted to the class decide to withdraw over the summer. The admissions committee meets weekly."

Looks like those who got emails such as the one Georgia32 got are the ones who are getting off the waitlist.....

I think I have the convenience of waiting it out because I'm going to GSU, which I don't mind because they're giving me in-state tuition, but, of course, I prefer UGA.

So what makes you want to move to Georgia? As for me, I am heading off to sunny California (USD) if I don't get off the list. It's going to be super expensive, so that's why I want to go to Georgia. :/
