Top Law Schools

Has anyone heard from UDC? And if so, how long did it take for you to hear back after your application was listed as complete?

Hi,

I applied back in early October, got completed by the Oct 19th, and was the 1st group of people to be admitted on December 13th with a small scholarship.

I'm not going to be attending there so I have to withdraw my app very soon.

Oh I see, I applied 1/18 and the status checker has said complete since 1/25 smh. Guess I will be waiting for a while. Where did you decide to attend instead?

No decision yet, but not UDC. I'm waiting on CUNY Law and if decision doesn't favor me, I will most likely not be attending for this Fall and will retake LSAT.

I see. At the moment I am considering NYLS (AAMPLE), but I reallyyyyy want to get into UDC, mostly because of location.

You should go to UDC since it's much cheaper. And if you want to do Public Interest work, then go to UDC. I want to do public interest and I want to get into CUNY. I got accepted elsewhere with scholarships but it is still a lot of money to waste, especially considering the quality of these schools and the work I want to get into so I'm not going to rush into law school. Anyways best of luck to you.

Considering UDC but heard housing/cost of living is very expensive. Any suggestions???

I applied late,end of March.But I have not received a confirmation email yet....LSAC shows application complete, and also payment completed ..Is this delay normal?

I applied 2/11 and took feb LSAT of course them being lazy did not update my file to say complete until i called and asked. That was 4/12 which is completely ridiculous. I was told i would have my decision by today but still no word yet.

Great!! Did you just show up or schedule a visit? And what did you all discuss, what questions did you have, etc.? I am planning a trip to the school for next week after graduation.

I scheduled the visit, on my day off.
My questions were about the class schedule,tuition re-reimbursement and externship/job placement/opportunities.
I was not able to speak with any students,may be you can request that too. Do share your experience:)

I'm going to call on Monday to see how large their waitlist is and what the probability is of being admitted. Would you have any idea?

No,I am not sure how long the waitlist is.
Calling Admissions office to inquire seems like a good idea.
