Just wondering if anyone has been successful in gaining admission to a school that waitlisted you last year. I'm currently being reviewed by two schools that waitlisted me last year and I would love to hear your success stories. Thanks.

Yes. I got a promotion at work, and wrote a new personal statement about it. Same stats, though.

Yes, my lsat score increased 8 points and I have a new job (foreclosure outreach in Attorney General's office).

I was waitlisted at W&L with a 161/157 and a 3.72. This year, I got in and also received scholly money, but I brought my test score back up to 161 (Darn LR). Definitely not the most prestigious school on this forum, but it's always been my top choice.

Yay - your responses are making me hopeful! I was pretty surprised to be waitlisted by one of the schools last year but now my LSAT score makes me an actual competitive candidate for this school. So hopefully it's good news for me.

Yes, I had a moderate increase in LSAT and into two schools that had previously waitlisted me, and one that had previously rejected me.
