Top Law Schools

I'm waitlisted for Penn State (2.9 gpa & 159 lsat). I got into Temple though. In any event, what would you say my chances are (oh and I wrote a crazy good cover letter/ what about softs?)

OH and also they said to wait until may. Isn't 3 months a crazy amount of time to spend on a waitlist?

Well 3 months is not unheard of. I mean some schools are still taking people off of wait list in the summer. I have not heard back from Penn State yet but based on numbers I will either be joining you here on the wait list or dinged. I do have very good softs and upward trend that work in my favor but still not expecting to much.

Congratulations on getting into Temple. I applied to both Temple and Penn state and have so far received a wait list notification at Penn state though Temple is my first choice. My GPA was 2.9 as well but I got a 158 LSAT so hearing that you made it into Temple has my hopes up.

Not to crush your dreams, but I was waitlisted at Temple with a 3.88 and a 158 LSAT. It seems their LSAT floor is 159 for non-urms and they dont budge from that number.
