Very interested in attending because of their sports law program. Anyone else?

Anybody know when they let people know about scholarships?

I was accepted a little while ago. Thanks for making a thread! I heard they start making scholarship decisions in February.

Me too! Applied recently.

I was accepted awhile back too. Scholly info comes Feb. I think I'll hold out for that to come before withdrawing, I've gotten into better schools since and have never even stepped foot in WI, nor am I sure I want to.

someone in my immediate family went to mu for undergrad, and had nothing but great things to say about his experience. However, i HATE cold weather, I am a huge maybe on chicago, so i feel like wi is def out. good luck tho!

I've applied here. I'm also in the greater Milwaukee area so we'll see what happens. I truly don't know much overall about the legal industry in the state and I think the answers would be typical to what others have said in the WSJ and in the various other legal industry articles that I have read.

I can comment on the weather though.

Just got a mailing giving me access to CheckMarq with a Marquette email and everything. Their is a financial awards section but nothing is listed yet. Dont know what Im supposed to do with this

just got the acceptance mailing today. Apartments near there look crazy expensive for being in the milwaukee housing market. Being a resident without much of a shot at Madison, it is probably where I will be next year. I like the small classes and location. Is Russ Feingold still teaching a class there? He wasnt on the website faculty section. Anyway, congrats to everyone else, see you at accepted students day.

Applied a while back, haven't heard yet. Very unlikely that I'll attend, but I guess I'll wait to see the financial offer.

Just withdrew my app. The dean actually responded to my email right away! I'm sure it's a great school, but I've never even stepped foot in WI and already have a few great acceptances in places I'm familiar with.

He's teaching at Stanford this semester. He could be back in the fall, but I don't think anyone knows for sure.

I wonder why some get emails and some get mailings. I never got an email just the acceptance letter in snail mail. Anyone going to accepted students day March 31?

Nope. I thought my acceptance email said I would hear by the end of the month (that was Jan)...hopefully some news soon.

The letter I received said they will meet and decide in Feb.

In with a scholarship...3.4/161 from Wisconsin. Still hearing back from schools but Marquette is definitely a contender for me.
