Is anyone in at Hofstra yet?

I was Waitlisted yesterday...

I was waitlisted as well. 2.6/158 what are your numbers? do you have any idea about the prospects for getting in after being waitlisted or when we would hear anything? I searched their website and can't find anything.

WL. Applied for part time Day. Got letter in the mail. Saw it on status checker a couple of days ago.

I applied early but haven't heard anything yet. I also don't have a status checker that was email to me. Have all early decisions been released already?

Do you mind sharing when you submitted your app and when it went complete? My apps were sent in pre-thanksgiving and I have had my status as "File Pending Committee Review" since 11/30. Also, can you confirm if this means they are reviewing my file or if its complete and awaiting review.

In as of 12/15. I submitted on 11/19 and went complete on 11/21.

I submitted in late october, went complete/received my online status checker on 11/23, and was accepted on 12/15... 160/3.4

Status changed on 12/19 to "File with Admissions Comittee". Anyone else experience this? did a decision come out pursuant to this date? if so, what was the timeline. The anticipation is exciting.

Sent my app in 10/31, complete next day and was accepted 12/15 into full time program. Received email about acceptance letter coming shortly. Scholarship info will be sent out in January. I did not apply ED. 2.92/152 with strong resume, PS and recommendations

In via status checker on 12/20. Part Time Program - 157/3.5. Awaiting financial aid information and letter.

Received acceptance email on 12/19 for Full-Time

3.06/152 URM

Fingers crossed for some sort of scholly.

Anybody know what kind of scholly stuff they're getting? Does it seem generous?

Hofstra will be giving out scholarship details In january

I've already been accepted via status checker, but I got a call from Hofstra admissions today. Unfortunately I was driving so I couldn't answer it, but they left a voicemail saying to call them back as soon as I can. Anyone know what this is about/get the same call? I'll call them back in the morning to find out.

Yeah I got the same call which I had to miss because I was on the phone with a client at work. I called back and they were like "congratulations on being admitted and we would like to invite you to attend our student information sessions and ASD." They said they would be sending an email about this stuff too.

i got the same thing. they tell you about two possible open house dates where you can meet the faculty and other admitted students

Hofstra just got me good. A big packet came in the mail and I was excited thinking it was scholarship info, but it was just an admitted students guide book.
