Ew it is really late at night EST, so hopefully this doesn't become a calling pattern. Oh, and congratulations!

Edit

Any thread written in caps and appearing with this many exclamation points deserves to be taken lightly. Whilst the OP does have a history of posting here, I'm going to wait for confirmation.

Don't get so excited. There are plenty of unemployed Boalties out there.

really?

You must be a huge hit at parties.

When did you submit? Is there anything unique on your app that would make it seem like an 8pm call on a Saturday was warranted?

This.

Way to be a cunt.

This thread reeks of insecurity

ETA: Insecurity on the part of attempting to dash someones hopes by mentioning that some grads are unemployed.

I know, right? What kind of asshole gets excited about getting into Berkeley on Top Law Schools.com and then creates a fairly common "In at..." thread?

It's despicable behavior.

Acceptance call at 8pm on a Saturday from his home phone? Are you sure a friend isn't trolling you? If so, most epic troll ever? If not, congrats!

I was referring to putting someone down after being accepted to an amazing school.

sorry bout that, good call

Quite all right! And let me be abundantly clear, to the OP, congratulations on your acceptance to an awesome school. I wonder how many people received calls while inebriated on the east coast for happy hour.

my guess is zero. since it is saturday night. I hope I am wrong for OP's sake

Could be a new admissions strategy: call applicants while they are drunk and see what happens

Um...I'm skeptical.

1). No one on LSN has reported any response from Berkeley.
2). No one else on TLS has reported any response from Berkeley.
3). Phone call on Saturday evening?

This needs further substantiation for me to believe Berkeley is releasing decisions.

Lol... OP mentioned in another post that the Dean called him from his house.... This has gotta be some kinda joke.

1). No one on LSN has reported any response from Berkeley. - LSN is not Berkeley
2). No one else on TLS has reported any response from Berkeley. - TLS is not Berkeley
3). Phone call on Saturday evening? - Dean Tom can use his phone whenever he wants

Here's to a great start to my cycle Good luck to everyone else as well!!

This will probably bring up more issues than it settles, but stats? Why are you the ONE they call on Saturday?
