Current Status Date changing

This question applies to different law schools that I have applied to but for example I have applied to NCCU and my status says Complete and In Review, but I recently noticed that my Current Status Date changed from the first day tha they recieved my material, to todays date. Does that mean that a decision is likely soon?
I am wondering what the significance of the Current Status Date is.

It's the date that they the status changed. If you went complete two days ago, your current status date would be two days ago until the status changes. All this means is that you started getting reviewed today. Schools vary in how long they review applicants

My status used to be just Complete but has been Complete and In Review since 10/25 and that is what my Current Status Date had been until today. So does that mean that possibly a decision has been made today?

Oh, the status stayed the same but the date changed? Yeah, you're probably getting a decision in the next couple days

WUSTL says that current status date change does not imply anything with respect to committee decision.

do you think that for most schools that is true? or that it probably means a decision is coming soon

I'd like to think that it's an indication that something's coming soon. From what I've seen some people who got acceptances to certain schools saw their dates change. Anyone else have any idea if it's a good sign?

mine changed on 11/15 and i still havent heard anything, NCCU is rolling admissions so that may have something to do with it

Mmmm, may not be completely true. My status date changed to 12/2 (still saying complete) and I got my acceptance email later that day.
