I applied a few weeks back, anyone else? Only status I've gotten is "app received"

Yea apparently they dont update the status until mid november and dont begin reviewing them until december.

Didn't take me more than a week, I think. It is taking much longer to get to complete.

I did at the end of September. Everyone I met was extremely friendly and the facilities were updated and beautiful. It also doesn't hurt that there's a Qdoba in the building!!!

Definitely. I visited last year and was up there again a few weeks ago so I took another look around- I loved the school as a whole. Now just to wait for a decision!

Application received 11/07, checking in.

Are there any 1Ls who would want to answer questions?

i'm interested to see what they do for scholarships...seeing as how kent and depaul put up crazy amounts compared to loyola. like someone with lsat score x would get 75k at kent, 60k depaul, and 30k loyola (according to lsn). Loyola waived application fees this year, hopefully they are a little bit more generous with money than they have been in the past.

That would be great. Anything close to DePaul's offer will definitely put Loyola very high on my list.

Agreed. Loyola's the last Chicago school I'm waiting on, so there's a lot of weight on that letter...

I wonder if there is any chance that we hear back in December?

They say they don't start reviewing until December and will have decisions made by Feb. 15 I believe...so maybe? But I will try to be patient.

Yeah- I hope it's worth the wait!

filled out the app last week, i gotta say, it was pretty inquisitive. Questions about where you went to high school and other obscurities seem a little bit invasive in comparison to other schools.

I'm waiting on my decision as well! Hopefully they don't take until February to send them out once they start reviewing apps in December

Agreed. I haven't had any movement whatsoever on my app. It says you won't get status updates until mid-November, which has already passed, and that they start reviewing in December. Well here we are LUC, please start on our apps!!!

Same, I've been App Received since 10/13.
