Top Law Schools

Hey everyone,

I've yet to see a thread for Howard this year so I'll start one. Just submitted app last week...


Important Dates:

October 1: Applications accepted

November: Howard Law school begins reviewing files for fall 2012

March 15: Application must be complete by this date

According to the website once notified that your app is complete, a decision usually takes 4-6 weeks.

Please Note
**Academic Character and Verification Form must be sent in order for your app to be complete**

Thinking about applying. But it'll be my back up, to my back up school. I'll check back in here later on. Good luck to all.

Just looked at email and it actually says to expect 8-10 weeks for decision after file is complete, so i guess the website isn't updated

Hello Everyone! I am new on here and just realized this page! I just got my acceptance e-mail to Howard with $ so I am excited! Still waiting to hear from my other schools though!

Also in as of yesterday with $$$,

Very good news and still waiting to hear back from a couple of other schools.

Still waiting on the dean certification to go through before I'm complete. Anyone else think it's obnoxious for them to ask for that?

I'm in at Howard as of today! I'm waiting on other schools as well.

I received this on my status checker. Went complere on the 24th. What does this mean.

A decision has been reached on your file. Please check your email for additional information. Please do not call the office until at least two weeks have passed. Thank you for your interest in Howard University School of Law.

I got the same thing, but I didn't get last part about the two weeks. I had previously been in review since 11/21. I don't what it means. Patience, patience, patience.

Not sure what these means I didn't get this email about waiting 2 weeks.. Sounds like you'll be receiving a decision very soon tho

Thanks guys! I just found it weird. I went from 11/31 to 1/24 and I went to check today and that was up top! I just didnt understand that 2 week part.

Hey everyone! I checked my status randomly today and I got in! Didn't receive any email from them though... Which worries me...

Went complete on 01/06/12

Just got a third email from howard regarding scholarship opportunities...the first two emails were about the Journal....but what I really want from them is a decision

Yea don't worry my email came a day or two after my status checker changed to accepted

Yes and you're status checker will change

Accepted today via email, I know its a great school but I will be withdrawing, committing to W&L.
