Wouldn't count on anything until at least then with a large batch coming in during the new year. Best of luck to all applicants! If you've got any questions about life as a 1L at Temple, feel free to ask em. I will answer as time permits (and how my outlining goes).neeko wrote:Very uneventful.
Judging by LSN they didn't admit anybody until mid December last year. Long wait.
Under attachments I added my resume to "Employment Info" and I did not add anything to the "Additional Education Info"Kage3212 wrote:Just noticed that there is no spot on Temples application for a resume? Where did you guys upload yours? Also, at the bottom it says to add an attachment for all educational institutions attended, when there is already a section above that details that information? Did you just add again for redundancy sake? Things are always confusing.
It says to do that only if you couldn't fit them all under 'Education' on the FlexApp. I also just put my resume under 'Employment Info', since half of my resume is employment info anyway.grovevilleroad wrote:Under attachments I added my resume to "Employment Info" and I did not add anything to the "Additional Education Info"Kage3212 wrote:Just noticed that there is no spot on Temples application for a resume? Where dose it say to add an attachment for all educational institutions attended?
I've heard this same thing multiple times, but I'm from Pgh and people here love to talk shit on anything Philly-related lolmattviphky wrote:how is the temple area. I applied, but my grandparents (who are from philly) said that the area around Temple was absolutely awful and that the crime was ridiculous. They are both older and haven't lived in philly in 10 years...so their opinion might be dated. Does anyone know how the area is now?
The campus is fine unless you do something dumb (like walking home drunk late at night alone carrying a laptop)... Off campus is a different story.ThreeRivers wrote:I've heard this same thing multiple times, but I'm from Pgh and people here love to talk shit on anything Philly-related lolmattviphky wrote:how is the temple area. The neighborhood you go through while driving to the school is a little rough/intimidating...but campus really is it's own sort of "bubble". They have the 3rd largest police force in the state (behind only the cities of Philly & Pitt...). I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point on campus.mattviphky wrote:how is the temple area. Also, there are a lot of nice neighborhoods you can live in and still reach campus fairly easily, be it subway, bus, or bike. I second most what was said above. Some friends of mine who live right off campus live in some "ghetto" areas but still find it to be safe enough. I would personally suggest living in a different part of town though; your overall experience of Philadelphia would be much better.mattviphky wrote:how is the temple area.
