Do they negotiate over the phone? I just sent the email off, so I think I'll wait a few days and follow up with a phone call on Thursday. I don't mind them taking their time, I just want to navigate around my deposit deadlines as best as possible.gabewatch wrote:Things get done a lot faster with that office over the phone, based on my experiences.BVest wrote:No reply yet. Confirmed no money headed my way, therefore I'm withdrawing. Hope one of you gets my seat.

Anybody know what happens if you send in your deposit days after the deadline, which was an extension...? Also, has negotiating $ worked for anyone? I'm on the fence. Ugh.

I called them a few days to ask the same question.
The person i spoke with told me that she doesn't expect any movement until late May. And even then, she isn't expecting much movement because they were able to fill most of the class. Still waiting on the people who have double deposited.

I would imagine there would be a significant amount of movement on the waitlist. I'm not sure about CU, but applications are down across the board and many people bolt when they get that late acceptance from their dream school. Heck, even last year when CU had a record number of applications there was a lot of movement on the waitlist. If you want Boulder, I'd sit tight.

Was wondering those of you that have been accepted off the waitlist, what were your stats? Are they chasing higher GPAs initially? was on LSN and it seemed that those with lower LSATs and higher GPAs 3.7 and above were getting off the waitlist. Still waiting, hopefully I will get off soon.

Admissions told me they are currently over enrolled so for those on the waitlist... Lookin' kinda grim. I called to withdraw after she basically confirmed I'd be getting no monies..

Was wondering, of those who have sent a LOCI, did you get a confirmation that they received it? Sent one in around three weeks ago and heard nothing.

I didn't get a confirmation when I sent mine in. I basically just waited it out, and got acceptance about a month later (February). Good luck to ya.ColoBoul wrote:Was wondering, of those who have sent a LOCI, did you get a confirmation that they received it? Sent one in around three weeks ago and heard nothing.

I recieved it too.rma wrote:Did anybody else receive the 'waitlist update' email today?
It was basically just an update saying they might start looking at the WL by June 15th, after the second deposit for admitted students.

I got it. It was kind of like an "are you still interested" email, asking people that no longer wanted to be on the list to let them know. No request for reaffirming responses though. I usually take these as a good sign that they intend to go into the list to fill more than a handful of seats - but, who knows.

Boulder is a safety school for tons of people. When they get off the T-14 wait list in the summer, some of them will follow their corporate dreams and jump ship. No matter what admissions is telling you, I bet there will be movement on the wait list.

Not sure if this is common knowledge, but a friend of mine who is on the waitlist was told there would not be movement until June 15.

Re: CU-Boulder Applicants Class of 2015
Is anyone looking for a place to live still? I am probably transferring and I am looking to replace my spot. It's a great house just a couple of minute walk from the law school. You would be living with two friendly 2ls.
I'm on my phone but please message me for details.

Haven't heard anything yet. I'm definitely interested in CU though. Would only be able to justify the cost of a visit if accepted off the WL
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
