I applied 10/12, complete 10/13. I grew up in (northern) CA but am out of state now.

been complete since mid/late september, haven't heard anything. got into ucla despite being a bit low on the gpa side so hoping this one works out too : )

Does anyone know if USC grants merit-based fee waivers to candidates who are above just ONE of their medians and not both?

Yes they do, I'm 3.74--159 and they granted me one. But I'm also an AA male so I guess that factors into it.

I'm below their GPA median but I got a merit waiver through CRS. Maybe I'm missing something here but UCLA does say they will inform you via email and most people receive a call from the dean when they're accepted.
