Me too, especially since when I called on Halloween they told me I would likely hear back the week after . Sooo tempted to call and ask again.

I KNOW. On LSN a few people have gotten rejected in November, but they haven't been updating their dates, just mentioning it. Last person who has updated their dates submitted 9/21 or 9/22. .

No school is going to tell you ONLY through the status checker - you will get an email/phone call/package in the mail.

But, as I just found out, Alabama calls (at 5:15 on a Friday night & then I updated LSN neeko)! In + invited to interview for the Dean's Scholarship, which is full tuition plus a stipend. The phone call woke me from a nap and is my first acceptance, so I'm sure I sounded a bit more eager than any normal person would, but . I'm going to campus either this Tuesday or the next, and I'll be sure to post about it!

ps: Claude is the kindest person in the WORLD and I am actually excited about meeting her in person haha.

In with 25k scholly...Im really excited on one hand, and on the other, I know nothing about this state and it's culture. Can somebody please educate me with their experience? What are some of the cities like, the people, the school culture, etc??? I will of course visit, but in the meantime would love to hear some information from those with experience.

Seems like alot of people have that same message, and judging by their numbers, I think you're in good company. I wouldn't say its a sure thing either way though. If anything it just means you should hear back soon. Good luck!

Also, I go through Tuscaloosa pretty frequently when visiting family, but the only thing i know about the town is Dreamland BBQ. Anybody know anything about apartments in the area, or what parts of town to focus on for housing? The area around the Strip seems nice, but I'd imagine it'd be tough to focus with all that fun going on haha.

My status checker changed to admit today as well! I went UR 11/23 and was never under the "final committee review" or whatever it is. My gpa is above median and LSAT is above 75th, so who knows?
