I am curious if it is everyone or just those that they would like to move off the waitlist. Any insights?

I got the same e-mail. I had a conversation with them in Feb. (after I received all my offers) to try to increase the award because a T-25 offered me a little over 2x the money. They told me there was nothing they could do and that's cool, I understand you only have so much money to go around and I didn't expect that they'd be able to match it. It's just weird that after receiving such a final-sounding "no" that I'd get this e-mail a month after all their info was due. I haven't had any other school inside the top 100 give me a "second chance" to get back in after their deadlines -- probably the weirdest thing I've experienced in the admissions process so far besides Regent Law spam.stillwater wrote:Got an email today, even tho I withdrew my acceptance, asking if I would reconsider with more scholarship funds. You have to give Wake Forest credit, they are trying to get the best class they can and are willing to make whatever enticements they can to get it.Ant1her0 wrote:I got the same e-mail. I know several recent grads who have jobs or are in the final stages of interviewing for a job in Texas. It'll likely be fine if you are from Texas. The harder part is making the connections from so far away. But it's doable. I would just network whenever you are home.kiwi4president wrote:Accepted off the wait list today with 15k. If you want to work in New York, then go to a new york school.Texan1989 wrote:Anyone know how successful Wake grads are heading up to New York? Also, anyone have any experience with the externship in DC program?
Every school in teh country will have dropping applicants, and as a result, dropping lsats and gpas. Also, I wouldn't be worried about whether wake forest is # 34 or # 38 or # 42.MissEsq11 wrote:Hey guys, sorry if this has already been answered. Does anyone on campus know if admissions truly is raising the LSAT median and if wakes applicants went up or down this year? Also, what was the reason for the rankings drop? Thanks!
