Any 11/17er's still waiting? I contacted them asking if we would still hear by the 3rd given the weather. They told me they are still aiming for the 3rd but to it could take a few days after as they catch up, i feel like me asking just delayed my response . we are going into week 11... sigh

Last year, I applied in November and waited until April to hear I got waitlisted. Hopefully with the rolling admissions this year no one will be in that situation.

+2. I've been accepted to Fordham, have gotten a very nice scholly from OSU and am under consideration for a full scholly, and not a peep from UW, my top choice. Don't understand why they're so anti-me lol.

I've heard that U of Washington stacks sections with scholarship students. Any truth to this?

That sounds strange since they only give scholarships to like 8 people, but I don't really know.

Speaking for the class of 2013, this is not true. First, the scholarships are pretty rare. Second, there was not a GPA requirement attached to my, or as far as I'm aware of, any of the scholarships for our class.

Unless this is a new practice for the class of 2014-beyond someone is really off-base.

Class of 2014 here, and this strikes me as highly unlikely. While I haven't been going around asking people if they've received scholarship, all the sections seem equally intelligent. Additionally, the Gates Scholars are even spread around. Am I absolutely certain? No. But I think it is highly unlikely.
