With all of the drops lately there should be some more money thrown back into the pot. Everyone keep their fingers crossed.

Re: FSU c/o 2015 applicants
I feel your pain, I've been complete since 3/7 without any word, the waiting is killing me. The website says: "Admission decisions are made on a continuous basis, from October through May" So I would think we should hear something relatively soon?cass1230 wrote:I've been complete since 1/9 with absolutely no movement; lost a lot of hopepret wrote:I've been complete since 1/5. Re: FSU c/o 2015 applicants
I called admissions to ask when I could expect a decision. She told me they've been backed up due to the volume of applicants and the fact that they moved buildings. She said they hope to make all decisions by the end of this month.

Really? That's not too bad, much better than waiting til the end of next month.pret wrote:I called admissions to ask when I could expect a decision. Re: FSU c/o 2015 applicants
I just accepted my seat and paid my deposit yesterday. I know that some schools offer schollys after seat deposits as more money is freed up....does fsu generally do this? I dont have incredible numbers for the school (160/3.4) but Im pursuing public interest and have high financial need.

Re: FSU c/o 2015 applicants
Is anyone else having problems with your FSUID account? I got the email regarding an award change and when I tried to log into that section I got the message that they were upgrading/undergoing maintenance. I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me before I sent an email.
Edit: Nevermind.

So all denials, acceptances, and wait-lists are supposed to be done by the end of the month?

yep, sadly even if you've been complete for over 3 months you might still have to waitrglifberg wrote:So all denials, acceptances, and wait-lists are supposed to be done by the end of the month?

That does suck, except for people like me who applied late. Has anyone gotten any updates recently?cass1230 wrote:yep, sadly even if you've been complete for over 3 months you might still have to waitrglifberg wrote:So all denials, acceptances, and wait-lists are supposed to be done by the end of the month?

Re: FSU c/o 2015 applicants
I had my heart set on UF for a long time.. and due to a change in my personal circumstances (freed up to leave Gainesville), and being very very impressed with Admitted Students Day and the overall consideration of the faculty and staff, and the excitement of all of the students I spoke with, I have decided to attend FSU . I'm planning to get a place at Collegewood, most likely, since I don't need a ton of space and I don't want roommates, just lots of students as neighbors. I'm hoping that the location will make up for the grungy nature of the place, and I hope I can meet some more people around that area to hang out with. I've lived in Tallahassee most of my life, but completed my undergrad at UF and I'm a huge gator fan. (I plan to join the LitiGators at FSU - I'm glad there are others!)
Any opinions on the Phoenix South properties? I'm not extremely picky.. proximity to bars, other students, and the law school are the most important factors for my living situation. I'd like to be at the center of both the academic and social aspects of law school.
Any other gators making the move to FSU?
Also.. if you know of any law students who currently live at collegewood.. tell them to contact me via TLS so that they can "refer" me and get the $50.

Finally under review too! Any idea on how long FSU's under review process is? Hopefully not as long as the "complete" status haha.

It's top secret. But apparently my numbers were good enough to get me waitlisted at Maryland.MTBike wrote:LSAT score and GPA? if you don't mind sharing...pret wrote:I'm not in review and I've been complete sine 1/5.

Ya I was waitlisted at Maryland as well... Doesn't really make sense that you aren't in reviewpret wrote:It's top secret. I believe the review process at FSU is extremely short... maybe even today we could hear backrglifberg wrote:Finally under review too! Any idea on how long FSU's under review process is? Hopefully not as long as the "complete" status haha.

I applied and two weeks later had a decision, so I think the process is pretty short.
