Well I can't really speak too much about jobs and stuff just yet, but obviously GW is right in the heart of DC. At first it was pretty overwhelming, but the sections are broken down into sections of about 80-100. Then, civpro is broken down into sections of 35ish, and LRW is broken down into 12ish. You end up knowing people pretty well over the first month or so, and people are very into throwing happy hours a couple times a week. Anyway, my point is that you still end up feeling close to people despite the large class size. There are definitely some 1Ls I'm sure I've never even seen before, but overall the class size isn't bad because of how they are broken down.
This year's class size is smaller than last year's. Yeah I agree, it is a little hard to meet people outside the section because classes are all at different times so you barely see them. However, it is possible.
