I think it's pretty funny that I haven't checked my Vanderbilt status checker nor this thread in a while and out of coincidence I decided to check it out. After I saw people post that they have a decision mailed date I decided to check....I got a decision sent 01/31....wish I hadn't seen that. Now it's going to be extremely hard to concentrate. Best of luck to everyone who got a decision mailed on that date.

Another week gone, and still no word from Vandy. I am trying to be hopeful that they've had my app for over 3 months and haven't WL or rejected me yet, but my hope is fading fast. Maybe they'll surprise me this month...

The decision sent date is when its post marked, I think. They use FedEx, so I got my black box two days after the sent date. Some people didn't get a sent date, so that might be the source of the confusion.

They send out the black box on the same day they update the "Decision Mailed Date" to your application. My application updated on 1/16 and I received my black box 1/19. [FedEx actually had it on 1/18 but because they couldn't deliver to my PO Box, they called me and asked me for a physical address so it took me 3 days to receive my box instead of 2]. Hope this helps! My fingers are crossed for you!!

It took 77 days from my complete date to acceptance. You are all still in the ballpark range
