Just got my status checker today with an email that said: "We are not a rolling admission school. Applicants will be notified of their decision by April 1, 2012. There is a possibility that some applicants will receive an earlier notification if a decision has been finalized. However, most applicants should expect to receive their decision by April 1."

.....OK. If you say so.......

I wish I had applied earlier, but I was waiting for my fee waiver and had to end up soliciting it. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted!

So it updated since the last you looked at it? Hmmm.

It still says "complete, will send decision" on the app status box. The change happened in the mailings section.I hadn't checked that in a few days, since I figured the change would happen on the status report.

I submitted around 10/28, got the application recieved email, but now when I check they don't have anything listed as my status. I was really expecting to go complete by now. It seems like they are just not updating it. Any ideas what is going on?

Call and ask. I had the same issue... I called and they said there was an issue and they changed my status to complete and told me my file would go to review that day.

I got accepted with the first wave last week. I received the packet and welcome email. Today, I got out of class and had a missed call from an unknown 757 area code number. I googled it and it's a number from William and Mary. No message. Any reason they would be calling me? Has anyone else gotten a phone call from them?

1L here. They might increase a scholarship, and I know anecdotally of people who were able to get scholarship increases (find and search last year's thread), but they're going to want to see a higher offer from another school. I'd probably wait a while until they're cycle has played out a little more fully. Feel free to PM for more info.

Also, just a plug for the phone call from current students: I had absolutely no intention of going to W&M, but talking about the school with a current student really made me reconsider and made me begin to seriously consider the school, and I ended up attending.
